About Me
Well…where do we start? I’m a finance professional with a solid, varied risk management experience in the financial services arena. I have been involved in capital markets for a few years now, in the course of my work but also as a trader and just as someone who’s truly intrigued by the intricacies of financial instruments. I’m bilingual and fluently speak and write French.
I like to think about seemingly remote events as somehow interdependent and my thinking aims to punctuate and further that indispensable interdependence geoeconomics and social peace must construct to fulfill our common collective destiny. Of preeminent import to my views are themes relating to North-South geostrategic affairs, the nature and the ability of social wealth to foster sustainable economic advance, the structural pedigree of poverty in (so termed) Third World countries, and lastly, the changing dynamics brought forward by the resurgent (so termed) emerging economies.
I’m an MBA graduate from Rutgers University Graduate School of Business at New Brunswick, New Jersey, and a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). I also hold five other professional certifications in the areas of management, financial control, audit, and investment analysis.
In addition, I completed undergraduate studies at Monroe College in New York City culminating in two bachelor’s degrees – Business Management and Accounting.
Finally, I really enjoy yoga, reading, competitive (long distance) running, muscle building, traditional Chinese martial arts, and the beach. I love listening to spiritual music, R&B, salsa, zouk, and African melodic varieties. My all-time favorite movie, believe it or not, is Blues Brothers.
